…i'd want to drink mine out of a mug.  because it tastes better that way.

…unless it was warm out.  if it was warm out, i'd order an iced shaken passion tea.  or maybe an iced caramel macchiato.  (i'm assuming we'd meet at starbucks)

…i'd probably ask you what you've got on the agenda for summer.

…i'd want to take you for a spin in june!

…i'd ask you what your favorite ice cream flavor is, because it's warm out and i love ice cream!

…i'd tell you that i'm feeling very tired this week, after all the goings on with my family the past few weeks and now a bunch of sinus congestion that's just wearing me out.

…i'd ask what your favorite vacation spot is, and then daydream about it with you (as long as it includes warmth and sun.  if you want to vacation in, say, siberia, well then, you're on your own pal.)

…i'd tell you that i've been searching for a great summer purse, and i'm smitten with this one.

…i'd also tell you that i've wanted a longchamp tote for like, the past decade (not an exaggeration), and that i've been seriously considering investing.

…i'd probably ask you if you want to go shopping, because my summer wardrobe is just sad and i've had the hardest time finding things i love this year.

…i'd tell you that i'm currently addicted to one tree hill.  i'm working through the entire series on netflix and it's ridiculous at times, but i love that nathan & haley relationship.  and i pretty much always root for brooke.  

…i'd tell you that i was in boston last week visiting aj!  we had a low-key week with a lot of card games and netflix because of rainy and snowy weather.

…i'd tell you that my puppy is growing like a weed.  he's only 5 months old and weighs 50 pounds.

…i'd ask you what your favorite part of winter has been…and if you feel like you've gained some guns because you've shoveled so much snow.

…i'd tell you that i'm fighting off an ugly cold.  my parents both had it last week and i thought i had escaped it by going to boston, but it seems that's not the case.

…i'd tell you how much i can't wait for spring to get here.  we had a few days of 40-50 degree weather last week and it was the perfect taste of spring!  i'm ready for sun dresses!  for flats and sandals!  to put away my winter coats!

…i'd tell you that aj & i are going to see one republic in june, and that i'm pretty excited.

…i'd schedule another coffee date with you soon because i love getting together with friends for a good warm drink and a good chat!

Jen & Ben Get Hitched!

This past Saturday, I had the honor of being my best friends maid of honor as she walked down the aisle towards her husband-to-be!  It has been a blast prepping for this wedding…from her shower to her bachelorette party day to all of the little conversations and details, it's almost been surreal!  Jen and I have had countless conversations about "our future husbands" throughout our lifetime of friendship, and it's hard to believe she's married!

She and Ben are currently in warm and sunny Mexico on their honeymoon (I'm more than a little jealous), and I thought I'd share a few photos that I snapped during the wedding festivities!

This is George.  We met him at the hotel the night before the wedding after he did some karaoke and gave Ben & Jen some wedding advice. It was wonderful and perfect and a great little memory.

We sent this pic to Jen the morning of the wedding as we were decorating the chapel while she started to get ready…a little bridesmaid shenanigans to get her laughing.

Junior Bridesmaids Abby & Leah (Ben's cousins) were so pretty the day of the wedding!

Our beautiful bouquets (they're silk, so we can keep them forever!) and the pretty centerpieces.

Rehearsal…we laughed and giggled the entire time.  Such a fun wedding party!

I caught the bouquet and AJ got the garter…and cross my heart, we didn't even try.  The bouquet literally bounced off of about four people and landed in my hands. haha….guess the pressure's on? ;)

Of course, there will be many more wonderful perfect photos (taken by my dear friend and wonderful photographer Hannah Kurtz!) to be shared in the coming weeks & months.  I'm so excited for Jen & Ben!  I can't imagine a better couple and can't wait to see how they settle into their new lives as Mr. & Mrs.!

Jen's Rustic Shower

Today, we got to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of my best friend!  Jen and I have been friends since we were little, and we grew up going to church and school together.  She's my absolute best friend in the world, and she's just one of those girls who is totally a kindred spirit.  I'm so grateful to have her in my life and it was so much fun to get to plan a day just for her!

The day was full of fun little games and lots of food and fellowship...we had such a good time celebrating Jen and Ben and I think it was exactly what she hoped for!  I had fun putting the day together and I hope Jen enjoyed it!
